New to the FORUM!! Looking at buying a Lowe 1440M or a 1448M...what are everyones thoughts on LOWE jon boats...feel free to post pics of your boat and modifications. I'll be using it for duck hunting and fishing.

I have a 1448 with a huge deck on the front, and its as very stable. I can even jump around right on the edge of the boat, and Im 220 lbs. I love it. My buddy has a 1442 and it isnt near as stable.
 
If you got the $$$ get the 1448. However more $ on the boat = less money for modifying / outfitting.
 
Thanks guys...i have a mint condition 90's mercury 4 hp short shaft...can this power the 1440M or the 1448?
