I have the paint off my tin inside and out with the exception of the bottom. The boat is sitting on my trailer. Before I take it off the trailer and flip her over do I need to go ahead and prime her :) . Reason I am asking is I need some welding work done and it might be a few weeks before I get it done. Is the bare aluminum ok for that time or is the primer going to hold better. Just thinking primer would hold up for a few weeks till the finish coat comes.

the aluminum may not look as bright in a week or so, but it wont rust, so you should be fine.
