Hello, 1979 Mirrocraft 14' Alumnium 3614 After getting the boat on the trailer I decided to fill the boat with some water. Last time I had the boat in water 5 years ago, i had a leak towards the bow, sure enough under all that caulking and fiberglass half past patching, there is a leak and a split. The split/crack is maybe 3 inches long and looks like a rub through from a couple hard beachings.

Have the area welded, i have 3 very good welding friends.. Problem i see possibly getting that gasket too hot and causing leaks
Finding a sealant for this repair, and do from the inside????
