new and just bought a ridgeland boat (good choice?)

The is 14 feet by about five across at the top. Planning on redoing the whole thing. The model is a ch14. Anyone know anything about it? Love this site you guys are awesome.

Washing it tonight... Wasp nest and two mouse nests found inside the foam. Paint stripping tomorrow. Looks like three layers and some bass stickers under the last coat. need a good strong stripper. This boat is a mess ........ I love her already! Wood in transom is origial and almost perfect-weird.

Use the saran wrap trick - to save you from searching for it here it is...

Put stripper on, then cover it with saran wrap. It keeps the stripper from drying out too fast and allows it to work for much longer. It also keeps the smell down quite a bit.

WOW. Just got a 1969 evinrude 18 hp from a friend for $50.00. he said it was hard to pull and bought another that was easy. Been sitting in his shed for 2 years, it looks very clean. Do you think this is a problem ( hard to pull )?

Started it last night and it fired off 3rd pull! With 2 year old gas. Only ran it for a few seconds and it was great. Looks like it has had a huge over haul in the last few years. It has new hoses ect.
