went for a ride sunday afternoon and something at a distance caught my eye. as i got closer i saw a pontoon pulling a upside down boat with "baloons" holding it up... i felt sorry for the poor folks, after i loaded up they got it to the dock. i called a buddy and was telling him about it and he said he saw a wrecker pull a brand new dodge truck and boat trailer out of the water at the same dock sunday morning. i hope my luck never gets this bad, sunk boat is bad enough but the truck really had to hurt!

Here on lake mead wit water going down theres boats everywhere that had sunk yrs before,I have found many old lures that the fish cant say no to.And have collected too many anchors and some old mexico coins also.I once helped pull out a big bus type rv from under the launch ramp wit 2 other trucks to pull herout brand new too.

No, what sucks is when your boat catches fire and you have to bail out... Happened to a coworker a few years ago. Bilge fan wiring was sketchy, put it in the water and hit the starter. Blew the engine cover overboard. He, his wife and kids all bailed over the bow and it burned to the waterline but didn't sink. Olds 455 jet setup in a '70's hull.

Is that Pigeon Creek?
cranfield. i do alot of hunting around pigeon creek but i have never fished that part of the lake though.

i don't know what happened in either situation and it wasn't in the paper today or yesterday. about 15 years ago my grandfather watched his 94' f150 sink to the bottom of the same lake because of a faulty parking brake.
