I am getting ready to fab my console out, and would like ideas as to shape, size, etc. I built one out of wood and filler, but the extreme heat un der the cover has already shrank everything up and it looks like crap after just a few weeks. I am making the new one out of fiberglass resin, so it will not crack or shrink. Let me see what ya got!!!

Hey Derek... how did it turn out? I am looking at building a side console for my latest project... I was thinking about building it out of plywood and fiberglassing it.
