The side console on the Bass Tracker is topped with a molded plastic shell. The plastic is 24 years old, is cracked and pretty aged. I'm wondering if it's worth trying to repair it or if replacing it inexpensively is an option.

The bottom half of the console appears to be aluminum, so I do have a solid base to work with if I want to replace the plastic.

Comments, thoughts and solutions welcome.

Hey Dave,
I ran into a similar problem with my console on my new boat.
It has enough holes drilled in it to pass for swiss cheese.
I went to a scrap yard to look for some aluminum for my decks and I ended up picking up a diamond plate aluminum tailgate cover for around $12, so I'm gonna cut that out and rivet together for the console. Maybe you could rebuild yours like that.
