Same boring question: what is the best foam for irregular spaces? I have read posts on the subject, not all of them, and did not find out if the spray expansion foam is any good. Like a lot of boats it was used for support as well as flotation. It helped support the sheet of aluminum flooring. Will this product eventually retain water? If it will, is there something else that could be used other than a rigid foam.
Sorry for asking, but I thought that I read something negative regarding the use of it in the marine industry. I think it had something to do with amount of water introduced as a catalyst since it is a polyurethane based foam.
I was under on of my in-laws rental props all day spraying the stuff and it got me thinking. :-k
