How do I Remove Putty?

The Lowe Roughneck that I bought last weekend has some putty on the bottom.
It is starting to crack.
I have no idea what kind it is. How should I go about removing it?

You can try heating it with a heat gun to soften it up.

If the heatgun don't work try a wire wheel.But,you'll have to do something to fix the bare aluminum.

You could try a "putty knife". Yes, that is the name of the tool. :mrgreen:
