I got a 1560 boat that the front tow hook has been pulled out and some sort of compound used to seal the area. There is only a right handle on the nose which makes towing and pulling the boat into place more work then it needs to be.

So, what would be the easiest way to fix this to make a center mount. I have pic of the front of the boat but not sure how to get it published as i don't have an upload site.

thanks!

Have access to the inside? You really need to get inside, as the toggle bolts will work for awhile, but at the end of the day, the flat front of that boat is made of thin aluminum, and the toggle bolts will likely pull through. I would put a plate of thicker aluminum across the front, on the inside, then through bolt the new eye into this.
