I was at walmart the other day and they had a complete bilge pump and installation kit for $25 on clearance so i picked one up. I look further down the clearance section and they have the same pump from that kit on the shelf for $5. So I got that too. $5 for a bilge pump is cheap! The brand is Attwood and its a 500GPH pump. The kit came with the plumbing, fittings, clamps, wiring, fuses and switch.

I put the kit in my boat today. Worked out very well. I got it incase of an emergency of me sinking, taking on water, or something. Hopefully I won't need it.

You never know!

I have gotten lucky over the years and have picked up some great deals at walmart I gave 3 spare live well pumps and 2 bilge spares I had to replace a bilge last fall on lake Ontario so they do come in handy.
these pumps are regularly priced @ around $20 I got mine for $5 each
