Great deal on sealed rivets

Hey all. I recently purchased some sealed (closed end) aluminum rivets on ebay and wanted to share the link. I got over 100 3/16" rivets for $10 shipped. If you've priced these at retail then you know how good of a deal that is. Check it out.

I would think that 1/2in long rivets would create a very long bucktail in most situations on a Jon boat. Also some times a long grip length can actually cause the rivet to "work" or "smoke" and fall out.

Just a little FYI.

Yeah, one should be careful to select the right length for the job. The seller has several sizes available.

These are not "sealed" rivets, quite a bit different
