Getting ready to start the pre-spring build to my 16' MirroCraft V boat and I am trying to figure out the amount and dimensions of the aluminum structure to support the decks.

What sizes are generally used in most builds- and what shapes?

For my build, I have been using 1/8" thick aluminum. Most of the angle aluminum that I bought was 1x1x1/8" with some 2x2x1/8" a critical spot. Aside from those, I had 3x1x1/8" c channel to raise the decks.

Did you end up getting the aluminum Capt? I am thinking about starting to mod my fisher myself and looking for aluminum here near Philly.

I did not get it - I did find a supplier in Allentown and Hatfield. There is a place in Philly that I used years ago - will see if I can find the name for you
