What is the best way to fasten the framework for my deck to the floor? I have an older Lowe 1648 from back in the 80's. It has an aluminum sheet floor in it so the ribs aren't exposed on the floor. They are up the sides though. I am just getting ready to start on redoing the boat so any expertise or advice is appreciated. Thank you in advance because I am sure there will be many great suggestions.

Well if there is space between the flooring and the bottom of the boat then you could use an L brace and rivet. What framework are you using? Angle aluminum? Post some pics and lets see what your working with.
