Extending the deck on my 1996 Voyager after replacing all the flooring. Used 2x2 and 2x3. It will hold my trolling motor battery and my accessory battery. Working on the gun box today. Thanks to all that posted previous pics and descriptions of their projects. Time consuming part is sealing the wood.

re sealing the wood. I presume that you are sealing the 2 x4's before installation...then just dabbing on some touch up after you get them cut and screwed into place??

Shouldn't take too long with a roller on a stick...and the boards lying down flat on a deck. I love a roller on a stick.

I did a dry fit of everything. Then, after getting in trouble for stinking up the garage, I used the screened in porch once it warmed up to seal all the wood and then did the final install.

Added carpet and put the decking on. Installing hatch later tonight. Rest of the flooring to finish and carpet. I think my dog approves. Met up with Indywingmaster this morning through the forum.

Finished up the gun box. I used SS racing pin hood latched for the access panel to the batteries etc.. under the front deck extension.

I finally finished up what started as a small deck extension. Replaced and carpeted all the floors. Added some seats. Re-did the wiring and added on on-board charger.
