More trouble than they are worth in my opinion. Gotta reach way down in there to get to the fish. Id go with a cooler setup. Cheaper and more convenient IMO. Coolers are Easier to take in and out, and most come with cupholders 8) that are more useful that the tray/hatch thing on the Toho Rig. I fished tournaments in a 9.9hp lake growing up, and all the guys that invested in a toho rig ended up going back to the cooler setup.

The big thing with a cooler setup is there is no wasted space....No need to have a rig that stretches out the whole width of the boat IMO

Hmm mixed reviews........ my brain cant take it! haha i have searched livewell and seen different things Just trying too find the widest variety of possibility :D

How big is your boat? What is the livewell going to be used for? Do you have a 100 quart cooler already? If so, a fish saver kit is all you might need, and those are awesome too.

I picked up one from bass pro last year. Works great for me, keeps my fish alive to the end of the day when its time to cook my catch. I did not like the straps that hook to the side of the boat so I just made them into handles making it easy to lift in and out of the boat. I've got it hooked to a small 12v 8ah cabela battery and this keeps it a 100% portable so I can move it from one boat to another (one battery is good for the weekend for me). I've got a attwood portable pump that I picked up from cabela's that makes filling and emptying the livewell a breeze. You can go cheaper by making a cooler into a livewell but me I liked the looks of it and have no regreats.

Po1 This is basically what i would like too do. Would you mind up loading some pictures so i can see the inner workings? that would be great thanks :)

I'm on the road and haven't pull the boat out yet from winter, hopefully soon. Go to https://www.boatdepot.com/productimages/shingle/shingle-1.pdf it has the diagram you are looking for. It takes maybe 30 minutes to put togather with little trouble. Your price is a lot better then the $240 I spent on mine. It comes with every thing you need with the exception of a battery to power it with. The 360 GPH pump it comes with does a great job better then I expepected. I've used this on both a 1236 and a 1648 jon without any problems on it fitting. The following is just extra stuff I brought to make it simpler and easier for me:
