boat winch question

curious to see if anyone has an electric winch mounted directly to their boat. I run an 1849 grumman jon with a 27hp mud buddy. Im wondering how i need to mount the winch on the front of the boat to the sheet metal so that the first time i go to use it the winch doesn't tear the boat apart? the boat is heavy with a hunting load so i feel like the winch would help out alot. any pictures would help alot as searching around here didn't turn up what i was looking for.
