Currently own a tracker 1432, lot of hull slap. Looking in to a Lowe 1648m, with the modified v front end. Will this cut out alot of hull slap in your opinion? Thanks..............Brian.

Are you talking about the jarring you get when you hit waves or wakes? Or just the sound of the hull on the water?

Either way I think you will really like the 1648 mod-V over the 1432 flatbottom jon. That is a huge change in boat.

It will ride smoother in waves and the larger boat will be much more stable! Although all jons have some "slap"! Even Deep V Tins bang around in rough water to a degree. COmpared to a flat bottom a mod V will feel like its cuttin through the waves.

If your talking about the sound of the water hitting the alum. you can put foam under your floor to quiet it down, and absorb the vibration and noise.

Lowe makes a great boat and the 1648 is a good size and very popular. Good choice.
