Hi, I bought a 1980 tin boat and would like some help in identifying its manufacturer. The id plate on the transom states max hp 100, max weight 1565, and is stamped by the Boating Industry Association and Outboard Boating Club of America. It is an 18'4" 70 inch beam (didn't measure the floor) and 20 inch transom. It came from Prince George BC Canada, so perhaps it was built in Washington state? At any rate, here are some pics and if you can help me out I would like to hear from you. This isn't critical, just curious!

Interesting.... Never seen one like that :-k

Neat looking rig though.

Is there a way to reference the hull id with the registration/mfg?

hey guys thanks for your comments, but I have an update.
I found an id plate: says 4090879 RB 79, and also quotes the weight and hp restrictions.
Soooo .... I googled RB boats, led me to RB boats currently producing boats in Oregon. I thought I was quite clever and sent them my pics and serial info, and they promptly emailed back and said this wasn't one of theirs. **** lol, since this boat was used in Prince George BC i thought for sure I had solved the puzzle .
Oh well, now there is more info for anyone who knows RB (I am now guessing it stands for River Boat) and the serial number, maybe you can take it a bit farther ! Thanks again!
