I got my boat over the weekend every thing perfect on it now so im looking at carpet or vinyl but dont realy no where to start as of brands of carpet or vinyl to go with and how to fasten it.Any help would be apperciated

On What do you plan putting your carpet/vinyl install?
I vote for outside carpet, stuff needs to breath so water can evaporate away

My carpet is outdoor carpet from Lowes. It has a thin layer of foam on the bottom I assume to let it breath and dry out better. I attached it to my aluminum decking using outdoor carpet glue. Holds up great so far. The carpet i got was really the cheapest I could find. All the Marine grade carpet i found was almost double the cost.
