i am building some new knee braces. the are attached to the transom with existing through bolts, but i am wondering what fastener i should use on the knee to boat floor attachment. i have some blind aluminum rivets, good choice?

Some aluminum solid brazier rivets. 3/16".

That's how my knee braces are held on. I recently had to remove and reinstall them. Went back with solid rivets as I had 40 holes to secure.

You might be able to use some truss screws, washers, nylock nut and 3m 5200 though.
