Anyone ever made a step mounted to trailer to get in the boat easier? Just having to step on the fenders for right now. I think I can make them for about $20.00 for both sides. After a while the fenders get bent down if your not careful. I know some of the newer trailers already have them. Maybe someone has some pics? Thanks!

My trailers wheels are under my boat so I can not use the fenders for steps.
I made a catwalk for my boat in the front for getting in and out with a simple 3" wide flat bar with a 90 degree piece welded on the end for mounting on top of my trailer. Sprayed the two brackets with galvaweld for some protection. Used a 3/4" thick X 6" wide treated deck board for the walkway and covered with same carpet as my boat so my feet don't slip off. Mounted the boards to the brackets with stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers for saltwater use. See pics and drawing below. Any questions, just ask.
