How fast is your boat

I'm not looking to run a race boat or anything, I'm just curious how my boat runs compared to others like it.
I have a 1544 G3 with a 25 HP Mariner tiller arm. My boat has a front deck with a foot controled TM. 6 gallong fuel tank and a battery behind the driver's seat. WOT I'm getting ~23 mph, according to my handheld GPS.

I hear of some guys getting 30mph+ sometimes with similar setup.
What are some of you guys' numbers and what differences in your setup?

1848 with a 150 jet and I get 37 out of her on GPS.

with the boat in my sig solo with gear 20mph+-
with a passenger and their gear as well 14mph-+
top gear trolling motor 2.5 mph

1432 + 9.9 + just me in the boat = 25 mph (GPS)

1542 + 18hp + just me + fishing gear = 22 mph (on GPS)

RiverPro LoPro 186 (18 Ft), 200 hp V6 sportjet + 3 guys and tackle - around 50+ on gps.

2002 Tracker pt185 w 90/65 Merc jet - around 29 - 32 gps w/various loads.

1432 8hp and just me 23. With another person and gear 16. Plan on upgrading to a 9.9 or 15 as soon as funds allow which is starting to look like never ](*,)

I hit 74.7 with my boat 225 yammy on it
but that was my old prop i am putting a new fury prop on it and hope to hit at least 77

1448 G3 flatbottom w/ 55# MK Edge FCTM, 6 gallon tank, full custom 6'10" deck on the bow(aluminum), 1992 25hp Evinrude- 30mph GPS by myself, 26MPH with passenger.

Havent put my Bob's Machine Shop jack plate on yet(this weekend hopefully), and I have a 35HP carb I have yet to install, hoping to get 35MPH afterwards...but 30MPH is plenty fast enough with a tiller.

16' lowe w/ 25 hp Mariner full decking with 2 people almost 30 mph according to gps. Fuctuates between 27 and 30 mph. Haven't had more than 2 people in it yet. I was surprised.

1756 Flat bottom Alweld with 225 JET, loaded to the hilt with gear and two deadbeat fish fanatics, my boat hits right at 50mph on GPS when the water is fair. Add a chop to it and I won't subject anyone to that kind of abuse.

1748 with a 40 HP, 30 even.


Can't wait to get my hands on a 75 HP... or an 85 with different stickers :twisted:

I have mods done to the bottom of my boat.

11'6" Meyers with 10HP johnson 21 +/- 1MPH
17'6" Lowe Commander with 70HP Chrysler 43MPH

1448 Mod-V 25hp 4 stroke 33 with just me and 27-28 with 2 people and fishing gear.

Might as well jump in like the others, 22' bay boat 200 4 stroke Yamaha 63 MPH named BLU-BY-U

Me my dad trolling motor and decks on a tracker topper 1542 with a 06' yamaha 15hp will get 23 mph on gps
