Today I carpeted my rear bench and front deck. I glued the carpet directly to the aluminum. I was planning on trimming the edges in aluminum angle and flat edge . Would this be a bad idea and what are the ways yall would give it a finished touch? I just dont want the edges of capet showing.

Me too. I bought the angle thinkin it was a good idea but I am second guessing now. Would it look bad?

I'm sure it will be fine. The fish don't care. I switch staple sizes when I put the edges of mine down and the bigger one show up so much more. I was complaining to my wife and she told me the fish probably wouldn't care.
It is after all...A FISHING BOAT!

What you could do is place some kind of trim over the end carpet to make it look better but thats all i can think of.
