Has anyone paited with steelflex while under the trailer. I was thinking about getting some inexpensive jacks and jacking up the boat off the trailer some and painting the steelflex while on the jacks. What do you guys think?

Product:

with the rubber inserts.

I'm not sure that would work, you really have to push the Steelflex around. It would be much easier to work with if you can flip the boat.

For it to seap into the seams and rivets gravity would need to be present. It would not be nearly as effective if painted from below.

Agree with T-Man. I'm envisioning it wanting to sag off the bottom.

Yea im just trying to figure out home im gonna get it off the trailer and be able to pick it up with a few people. Its heavier than most v hulls because its completely decked and under the wood is all aluminum flooring underneath.
