How to you run the gear for the live well? I mean I want to install one in the middle section of my V-Hull. I want it to be operated by switch and drained out the boat, that is the unknown part...how to do this. Do I put a through hull drain..like cut a hole in the transom area and pipe the water out that way or?? where do you put the bilge pump..in the water as you travel or when you start fishing?? questions question questions...anybody with an answer?

Most have an intake on the transom and pipe the water to your livewell. For an outflow, I like the one hole system with the extension as overflow protection. Put the overflow pipe in when filling and running and then pull it out when you want to drain it. Just make sure your thru-hull outflow is lower than the bottom of the livewell where the drain is.
