It's all down hill after this right? Easier every time? LOL

What are the people with similar boats using to hold the bilge pump down?

If I use the bracket onto the transom it tips it up and doesn't sit flat.

For now I just have it sitting there with the hose holding it in place. I need to go get some clamps to hold my house routing.

I found the 3m 5200 at ace hardware in Farmington. They are pretty proud of that stuff! $9.00 for a little tube.

Anyone use it to hold the tube in place too?

I took a piece of thin gauge aluminum, cut out a piece 3" wide by 6" or so long, bent it in two places so that it had a large enough "foot" for the bilge pump to be screwed or riveted to and then the top bend was made so that it would catch on the top of my floor so that it would hang.

Yep, that first hole is the toughest!

I used a marine adhesive/sealant to glue my pump to the floor of the boat. It worked great.

I would use a clear RTV silicone cement, because if it quits working it want be so hard to get the base out, and they do quit working sometime. Its the same stuff I use to seal off the holes on my transducers.
