I have the option of buying this fisher boat I believe it is around a 77 model it is 15ft long and 36 wide at the floor inside it has been modified with a 50 horse evinrude from the 80s by using a custom made jack plate and brace system because it has the long tail shaft also has a foot operated tolling motor front and rear anchors operated with a pulley from front of the boat and custom wood floor and wood on the sides with rod holders. My questions are is this a decent boat for 500-700$ is this motor ok with the extra bracing I can't afford to remove and put smaller motor because of the welding used on the brace I have used this boat five times and it operates great as long as you only run 3/4 throttle any more and it will not plain and rides riff it steers well so any input would be appreciated I'm new to these boats and really don't want waste my money.

It's not as fast as you would think but yea it'll run 35 which is pretty quick for that boat

At that price I would already have it titled in my name and at the Dr. getting a checkup for the throttle issue and planning my fishing trips. Sounds like a killer deal as long as the hull is sound. Them old Evinrudes are pretty much bomb proof.
