I'm getting close to the point where I will be cutting doors into the deck over the storage area. I wanted to do two doors.

I'm wondering what the best way to go about this would be (measuring, etc). Also, not sure what to do about hinges. Looking for advice. Thanks!

i just made one with 1/8" diamond plate, i used a piano hinge and 2" angle around the inside for support. or you could get one from TM marin i think thats what i used for my front hatch.

how did you incorparate the angle for support? im having trouble visualizing it in my head.......

you will probably not need it but i needed it as i added it to cover the fuel tank, battery and give the rear fisher more foot room. here you go:

Well...got anxious. So used plywood instead of alum. Brother came over and we mounted the hinges on the frame.

anyway, any pics of doors would be helpful!
