1987 I have 17' 3' Alumacraft Bass Boat V-Bottome Jon there is not data plate saying what the weight ratings for the boat is or the max horse power.The Transom is 50" wide across the back.

Can anyone tell me what the MAX weight for MOTOR,PEOPLE,& GEAR??

Can anyone tell me what the MAX HORSE POWER outboard i can put on this is?

Go to the following web site https://directory.boatdesign.net/detail/2790.htm and click into Safety Standards for Backyard Boat Builders and download the adobe pdf from USCG. A great guide line for old boats without a capacity plate. All you need is a tape measure and do a little math.
