I have a 1454 I think alumacraft with a 25 hp and console.
I removed the motor and the console and plan on just using a trolling motor for a while. Maybe get the gas motor running and add tiller steer later on. The boat is in pretty good shape but I have these issues. The transom has 2 hair line cracks one on
Each side both into a bolt hole. The top of the transom brace is broke off about 1 inch.
And a few pin holes in the bottom.
My big problem is I can't find anyone within
40 miles that can weld aluminum ..are
Any off these repairs possible with jb weld?
Also thinking of replacing the transom wood with aluminum for extra support.
Any advice would sure help!!
