What can I do to make my boat legal? I have no title, and the guy I bought it from isn't original owner. There's no vin on boat or any markings whatsoever on boat. Any way its possible to make it legal with a motor. Or do I just havta man power it?

Last paragraph reads:
"If your motorboat has no Hull Identification Number it will be necessary to obtain a new HIN from the Nebraska Department of Motor vehicles, see your County Clerk for further details. All motorboats must have a valid HIN before a title will be issued by the County Clerk."
 
I've had to request this twice as two of my projects were unidentified. AL marine police came out and inspected the vessel to issue a Hull Id number. Take that along with the bill of sale to the tag office and you shouldn't have a problem. It usually takes MP a couple weeks so the earlier you file the better. Easy process.
