since I'm not a boat owner it hasn't been in my consciousness. I'll see if any of the guys in my club know though. What are you looking for?
 
Never thought about it. I'll look around here and axe a few people about it. You mostly browsing hulls or motors/accessories/components? Most marinas that do motor work should have old motors they part out occasionally. There was marina in Calumet City (I think) that had posted on another site a bunch of motors they were selling (all as-is and none in running condition) before they called the scrapper. I think those are all gone by now. I'm guessing that any hull that gets sent to a bone yard is prolly not worth the effort to restore.
 
I really didn't have anything in mind, just thought (if there was one close by) it would be interesting to walk around and check it out.....
