Here's what I do after using my trailer when I'm done cleaning the boat. I simply put a lawn sprinkler under the boat and let it do the work of washing the salt off the wheels, axles, springs, hardware, etc. Then go enjoy a cool beverage. Trailers are the #1 thing neglected on a boat, by washing the salt off your trailer you'll be $ ahead.

Great idea but I don't have access to a large enough area of grass/dirt to do that so a lot of water will run down the street so I use the high pressure hose nozzle and just blast away under the boat and trailer after venturing out to the ocean.

I even do that to the underside of the truck whenever I get anywhere near the saltwater. :roll:
