I have been looking for a rubber rub rail for my tin with no luck. Has anyone ever added one to their boat and if so were did you get it or make it out of. Thanks

P.S. The boat is a 1990 Mirrocraft 1616 Troller that I am currently moding. Pictures will someday follow when the build is complete.

Some boaters substitute a heavy rope positioned in the slot for the original rub rail. You would have to fasten the rope with SS metal screws and cupped stainless washers*. If you cannot find a commercial rubrail that fits, rope might work for you. Rich

*You can buy thse at Home Depot etc., too.
