My project boat has a Morse 11' steering cable which appears to be frozen up. A little research indicates that the cable is obsolete. What are my options? Is replacing the entire steering with a Teleflex the only way to go? Any recommendations? Thanks.
 
I called a place I found online called go2marine.com and spoke to a very helpful customer service rep. He was able to find me a Teleflex replacement cable, so problem solved. If you need an obscure part, consider giving them a try.
