Dupli-Color Self-etching primer

I bought a can of Dupli-Color Self-etching primer. Says it will work on aluminum. Anyone use this? Hows it holding up when applied to bare aluminum?

Painted my boat with that primer 1 year ago. So far it's holding up pretty good.
