Well, brought her home today. It's a Blue Star Superchief 140 (best I can tell).

Gonna spend the winter "restoring" her best I can...I hope.

PLAN:
Strip bottom, beat out a couple of dents, and reseal...maybe with Gluv-it,
Paint exterior
Boat is completely decked out, but wood has seen it's better days.
Gonna use existing wood for template and re-deck and seal wood
Replace transom wood with sealed plywood
RE-WIRE!! Wiring is a MESS!!
Replace tires and bearings on trailer
Install new bow roller
Re-carpet bunks if wood is solid

Tell me how I did. Got boat, trailer, roll of marine carpet, two flip seats with raised swivel pedestals, one 55lb transom trolling motor, one 45lb trolling motor, and cheap fish finder...all for $400.

PLEASE give me tips or recommendations.

Also want to get a decent tiller gas for use in local lake and river. Rest of time will be used in campground's electric only lake.

Thanks in advance!!

Looks like a decent deal.

I just paid $500 for a 14' valco, trailer, 9.5 Johnson from the 70's, a 55 lb thrust troller, a fish finder, drift sock and a few little extra things...but I thought I got a steal.

I'd say you got a good deal, for sure. Relish it.
