Thru the HULL Livewell pump

I am not sure if this is the right stop for this topic, But I need some help!

I have a "thru thr hull" libewell pump purchased at Walmart. I am using a plastic bin to hold water and fish. Now, my question. How to you mount the pump? On the bottom of the boat, or transom?

Please help me with this.

Can you post a picture of your pump it may make a difference

Mine mounts low on the transom, under the water line. Sounds like the same type of thing...

I mounted mine low on the transom, be sure to put a screen over the water side so you don't suck all kinds of gunk through the pump into your livewell!
