Got a 14' semi-V Blue Star that I am wanting to re-do.

I'm fixing to use some aircraft stripper to get the old paint off. Got a few areas I'm gonna coat with some 5200.

Trying to decide what to coat the bottom with. What do y'all recommend?

Thanks in advance

I put steelflex on mine to make loading/unloading easier on electric only lakes. Also gave an added layer of insurance from potential leaky rivets.

I don't have experience with either one, but from my reading here and elsewhere, my understanding is that gluv-it is meant to be applied inside the hull and steel-flex is for the outside and/or bottom of the hull.

I was thinking either could be applied to the outside.

Mainly looking for the best, toughest coating. Not planning on running this this over boulders, but I'm sure there will be contact with some rocks and of course beaching it on dirt/sand.
