Decking thickness question

I'm replacing the deck on a 1989 V-17 BASS TRACKER and my son in law ripped out the decking and got rid of it before I could see how thick it was. (He thought he'd surprise me!)

What thickness of plywood do I need for the deck on this boat? It needs to support a couple of 230 lb. fishermen.

I plan on using exterior ply and sealing it with resin but don't know how thick the ply should be. Anyone done a deck on a Bass Tracker?

I would think 15/32 would be plenty. What is the spacing on your deck?

You can tell how thick your decking was by measuring how thick/deep your hatch lids are.

My 98' Tracker Pro Deep V came with 5/8" from the factory.
