Ok, that was a close one. I having been looking for a tin for a while now and almost just bought a 16' sea doo jet boat. Oh boy am I glad I stopped my self. I think i am going to look at this boat, it looks like a great deal and they were asking around $2000 a month ago. https://newjersey.craigslist.org/boa/2705273055.html

Yeah! When I first read that I was thinking wouldn't that be the last of anyone's concerns...

I'd not even give it a thought unless you can put it on the water first and run it.

But....it looks pretty good from what I can see in the pics. Good luck.

Thanks! I know the marina that is selling the boat and they have been very trustworthy. I called the guy and he said just let him know before I go over to take a look and he will put it in the water for a test drive.

ask them if they will let you look at the oil in the foot. the heavy waterline makes me think it set in the water for long periods of time.i see countless boats docked with submerged lower units while fishing around docks.

i figured that the motor alone is worth what they are asking. I am planning on selling for boat and trailer for around $900 and putting the motor on a 14'.

I don't know. That looks like a lot of boat for only $1200. Makes me think something's not right.

I'd want to inspect it with a fine toothed comb.

The motor is a 2003 and I see those go for at least $1,200. If I go through the boat well and take it for a test drive then I will buy it quick. They were asking $2,000 a month ago so I have a feeling that this boat will sell fast.
