Well I'm stuck! I have a Princecraft 16'6"
- Pic of the boat can be found here: https://www.tinboats.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=22436

I have the deck out, the foam is excellent (at 1st I thought about replacing it) - but open to any ideas - however I want to put in a couple of small livewells port and starboard sides. They are 26" x 13 x 11 3/4" deep. When both are full they will weigh approx 130lbs each.
I've attached a Pic and you'll see the 4 alum stringers running bow to stern.
Outside stringers 2"; stringers on each side of gas tank 3"
Deck finishes to 60 3/4"
My thought is to deck then add the wells overtop of the 2" to 3" stringers on each side - existing 20 gal gas tank remains.
Once I have the tanks set I was planing a casting deck overtop - 40" depth x 60 3/4" width x 3/4 ply
My question is - will adding the wells in this fashion make the boat unstable?
(I'd like to run a big well port to starboard - but then I'm looking at 260lbs + and you'll note in the Pic, I'll be covering up the fuel gauge sensor - don't really want to do that)

Your advice would be most appreciated, Thanks,
bobby

I appreciate the response fool4fish, Thxs.

I'm kinda leaning that way also - worse comes to worse I'll just go with one. Have a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving,
