As some of you know Im new here and new to the whole boating scene. I decided to do a tune-up on the engine just to make sure it is in tip top shape. As a result of the disassembly required to do this I decided to repaint the whole motor completely. I do this on the side for cars and bikes so it was an easy project and I determined the Evinrude E-TEC series outboards were launched in 1978....

That Etec emblem is funny. Sooner or later, someone is going to make a fool of themselves when they comment. There is a 1436 project floating around the web where the guy put an extra 1 in front of the 15 on his outboard. At the lake, one feller commented on how they make these bigger motors smaller and smaller. :lol:

I painted the whole thing, including every Evinrude and etec letter.. Ill get more pics up soon.
