Hey guys just got my new lowe 1436 and had a question about mounting my minn kota. It will be my only source of power for the boat and i just wanted to see the effects of mounting it on the side as to the middle. How will it handle compared to mounting it straight? How would you mount yours?

Either position that you show on the bow will be fine. Put it where you can easily reach and control it. Don't worry about the slight off-center alignment costing you much in steering or speed. It won't.
