What thickness floor should I choose

I need a hand choosing a floor thickness as this will be my first total remodel and I want it done right. I know I'm gonna go with aluminum. Thanks

I think he means aliminum not plywood. 1/2 aluminum floor ....that may add some weight :D


Sorry missed the aluminum part - I think 1/2" aluminum would be a little over kill :shock:

Nah, if you are putting it in a non elevated position you can actually do as low as 1/16th with no issues. Put foam underneath it and you are good to go. If your are iffy with that just hop up to 1/8th.
 
i used 1/8 for my low floor still have plywood on the decks.
after feeling it i wouldnt go any smaller. i also used 1.5x1.5x1/8 angle stock for building my decks
