I just got my new pedestals and seats. Do I need to install swivels on the seats or will they swivel on the pedestals?

You should be able to fasten the bracket right to the seat. I don't have swivels on mine. I have the 3/4" pin style with a spring.

Most likely not (do you have any pics) the pedestals (if they are the removal kind) should swivel in the base. If the pedestals are the solid type (permanently mounted) you will probably have to mount swivels to your seats.

They are the 3/4 pin type, I was just concerned about the bushings in the pedestals.

you can buy replacement bushing kits for them,but it will take years to wear them out.
