new to the site

Hey guys.I've been creeping around on here for a while,and I think the site is great.Not having an aluminum boat kept me from signing up,but now thats changed.This weekend I picked up a 16 Starcraft SF with a 30hp johnson.1992 but very clean and with a trailer.I am upgrading to this from a Carolina Skiff J16.As much as i love that rig,with 2 kids now going out with me,I needed something deeper,without going big.A few friends think I'm making a mistake,going from 'glass to tin.I've allways liked tin skiffs(I had a 14' mirrocraft before the skiff).so I'm comfortable with my choice.I plan on making this boat as fishable as the CS,but more family friendly.I'll post up some pics of my progress.
