Hey guys and gals just wondering if there was carpet other than boat carpet that is a little cheaper and easier to find.

You can use outdoor carpet. I picked up a 6x8 roll on sale for around $10.

^^^^^^^ It's cheaper to buy the 6x8 rolls, but if you need a longer run the stuff on the big rolls is the same. It's just wider and costs a little more. I got mine at HD.

JD, It was a year ago now, but it was a little cheaper. Maybe it was on sale, I can't remember. The mind is not what it used to be.

BassBoy, JMO, but I would spend a little more and buy the backed carpet. It would help with the glue not bleeding thru if you put it down to heavy. It happened to me on a small spot right where you can see it.

My local Lowes has 2 outdoor carpets... One is a loop carpet and is like $0.48sf...... Also have a softer, nicer carpet for $0.72sf. I would avoid a loop carpet if you plan on fishing from it... hooks + loop carpet = frustration! #-o :x
