Can anyone tell me the make of this boat?

i got this from my brother-in-law but it has no decal on it to identify its manufacturer.

it's about 11' long, lightweight, and rated for up to a 7.5hp motor.

all of its past reg. stickers are in place and date back to the mid-1960's.

Welcome!

Thanks for joining. Hopefully soemone will be able to help you. It looks like it is in mint condition for a boat of the 60's.

Do you have any more pictures of it? Maybe a little bigger too?

:D

This is a terrific site, a boating friend sent me the link today.

i have five boats right now, two are aluminum. this one and a 1956 Feather Craft.

the boat i'd like identified is from the 1960's, the bargain kind you would likely see stacked up outside a K-Mart of Kresge's for $175 or so.

what is remarkable is that it is totally unmolested. no extra holes drilled into it, not a drop of paint added to it. the only change has been the transom wood.

And here is a photo of the metal tag stating its limitations.

i'd like to add a nice vintage Evinrude, maybe 5hp, from the same era to it.

and i'd like to add some kind of seat with a back without drilling.

Yeah, find an old vintage 5 hp for it and some big gaudy Stratos stickers and find some place they are having a bass tourney and motor through.

Wow, i think you nailed it, thank you!

i typically thought of aerocrafts as a higher end boat and heavier guage.

take a look at this one on craig's list.

thanks again

Jim, your learning!

I saw an Aerocraft like the mentioned one on ebay last year. Absolutely fell in love with it. Would look real nice with a pair of 1951 25 Johnnys on it.

Yours with a '57 Evinrude Fisherman 5.5 would do quite nicely.

Those are great!

I ran across this site and thats why I guessed at it.

Look at the motor in the last picture on the left hand side!

i was tickled to see from the brochure that it was from the early 60's and described as a car-topper.

last fall i bought a 1962 Trade Winds pop up camper in very nice shape and am refurbishing it.

this vintage boat will look nice sitting atop the camper in tow.

now to find that outboard!

a vintage tow vehicle would be a nice touch!

i think a 1964 Ford Falcon would be fitting.

here's a shot of another old aluminum boat i have, a mid-50's feather craft that someone sadly molested quite a bit.
